John M. Bockrath, MD

Dr. Bockrath

Dr. John M. Bockrath earned his medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois in 1976. He completed his general surgery and urology training six years later at Northwestern University Medical Center. He has been a clinical instructor in urology at Northwestern in the past. He was a recipient of an American Urological Association Award for Laboratory Research in 1981. He has authored several medical publications. Dr. Bockrath practices adult and pediatric urology with special interests in urologic oncology, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, prostate diseases, male infertility, and vasectomy reversals.

He is certified by the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Chicago Urological Society, American Urological Association, is a Fellow in the American College of Surgery and the DuPage County Medical Society. Dr. Bockrath is a member of the Department of Surgery at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital and Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, Edward Hospital in Naperville, and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. He has been an avid lecturer and has been published in several prestigious medical journals including the Journal of Urology.
